More of my sculptures and some of my new framed art pieces. Everything I create is made from recycled plastic jugs, bottles and caps. I don’t use any paint and I don’t use a brush. The color comes from the bottle caps and my soldering iron is my brush. Music is Kenny G, Summer Song.

Love what you’re doing, keep it up and as for idiots like mustyguy or whatever it’s name is, ignore it, while you are helping our planet and making beauty from garbage, he sits in a chair favoriting videos being hateful and making the world a lil more ugly by his existance. Thank you for keeping this plastic from ending up in the pacific gyre.

Hey Sculptures by Summer, don’t even listen to 05mustangguy! Some people create beautiful art and then there are those, like mustangguy, who do nothing and yet find fault with other people’s art. Your work is AWESOME! Keep it up!

I absolutely love …
I absolutely love recycled art… anything that makes something beautiful out of waste. In fact, I’m creating a whole high school world literature unit on this very topic. It’s coming together very nicely… I like the video a lot. I do hate the music though!

Beautiful work on …
Beautiful work on it’s own merit , but to think it’s made from trash . The only thing that could make it any better is to teach as many others as possible to do what you are doing and keep that many more bottles from the landfills. Again, beautiful work.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I use heat in the form of a soldering iron and various tips, some I’ve bought and some I’ve made to sculpt it. Do you know of any green markets where I could sell my sculptures?

I use a solering iron to get the plastic soft, not melted, squirt it with cold water to harden and hold, then add more milk caps until I get the image I was searching for.

Thank you very much! It depends on the size of the sculpture or picture. But if you are interested I’ll make you a great deal! I don’t do this for money. I have another job that pays my bills. I do this because I’m an artist and it gives me something to do!
